Privacy Policy

This policy covers the public Silex advisory website, business inquiries, and the Client SMS Alerts program. It does not describe the separate Silex Intelligence platform or replace an engagement-specific privacy agreement.

Information we collect

When you contact us, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, email address, and inquiry. For SMS enrollment, we receive your signed consent form, including your name, mobile number, consent choice, signature, and date. We retain consent and enrollment records and, when messaging is active, related communications, delivery records, and opt-out status. Our website, email, and messaging providers may process technical information needed to operate and protect their services, such as network and request logs.

The public SMS page provides a blank form for download; it does not submit a phone number online. Please do not include sensitive operational information with your enrollment request.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, administer client engagements, verify enrollment requests, document messaging preferences, deliver requested messages, process opt-outs and support requests, protect our services, and meet applicable obligations.

SMS privacy and sharing

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

We may provide information necessary to operate this program to service providers acting on our behalf, including our email provider for receiving forms and Twilio for message delivery and messaging preferences. These operational uses do not authorize providers to use SMS consent for their own marketing. SMS consent is specific to Silex and is not transferred to another sender for that sender's messaging. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights or the security of the service.

Messaging choices

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to withdraw SMS consent or HELP for help. You may also email silexstrategicgroup@gmail.com. Choosing not to receive SMS does not prevent you from purchasing services. General contact information is not treated as SMS consent.

Retention and protection

We retain information as reasonably needed to provide the service, document consent and withdrawal, address disputes, and meet applicable obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect it. Records needed to honor opt-outs or meet other obligations may be retained after a deletion request.

Questions, requests, and changes

To request access, correction, or deletion, or ask a privacy question, email silexstrategicgroup@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Updates to this policy will be posted here with a revised policy version date.

Online inquiries

When the online inquiry form is available, we use the name, email address, selected topic, and message you submit to respond. Resend processes inquiry emails, and Cloudflare Turnstile provides automated abuse protection. An inquiry does not enroll you in marketing or SMS messages. Please omit sensitive operational details.

Social links

Operational Notes and their published timelines are hosted on this website. Facebook is an optional external distribution channel. Following a Facebook link takes you to a service governed by its own privacy policy.

Personal workspace

The personal workspace keeps drafts in your open browser page. If you choose device saving, your draft and source review notes are saved in local browser storage until you clear them. Owner sign-in protects the private workspace. Saved briefs and watch requests use private website storage; unsaved edits stay in the current browser. Weather checks send the coordinates you enter directly to the U.S. National Weather Service. Drafts are uploaded to private website storage only when you choose Save my brief or Send for review. They are not publicly published or shared with the intelligence app. Owner-requested checks run through the connected desktop monitoring task while the computer and app run.
